Hari ini Syamille Agro Farm Sdn Bhd yang diwakili oleh Hj. Zulkifli Zambri telah dijemput menyampaikan taklimat berhubung industri penternakan lebah kelulut di Seminar Promosi dan Peluang Perniagaan Koperasi, yang bertempat di Dewan Syarahan, Kukup Golf Resort, Pontian, Johor. Seminar ini berlangsung selama tiga hari, bermula dari 6 November sehingga 8 November 2013. Alhamdulillah, respon yang diterima sangat baik dan ramai peserta seminar yang berminat dengan peluang perniagaan berkaitan madu kelulut bersama Syamille.

Bees may be hoarding a natural substance that halts the growth of prostate cancer cells and tumors, according to a study published online in Cancer Prevention Research May 1, 2012. The substance is a compound found in propolis, which is a resin-like material obtained from poplar and cone-bearing trees that bees use to repair their hives.

Beehive propolis has a long history of medicinal use among humans. Ancient healers used it for abscesses, wounds and tumors. Today, holistic practitioners use propolis for canker sores, infectious diseases, cancer, ulcers, inflammation, sore throat and to boost the immune system.

Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among men in Utah—second only to lung cancer. According to the Utah Department of Health, more than 1,900 Utah men die of prostate cancer each year.

Researchers from the University of Chicago Medicine discovered that a compound isolated from bee propolis called caffeic acid phenethyl ester, or CAPE, thwarts early stage prostate cancer at the cellular level. In essence, CAPE starves the cancer cells to death by interfering with their ability to detect sources of nutrition.

Pada hari Jumaat, 1 November 2013, Syamille Agro Farm di kunjungi oleh beberapa orang pegawai dari Jabatan Pertanian Negeri Perak yang diketuai oleh En. Sulaiman bin Hj. Hashim, Timbalan Pengarah. Kami berbincang dan bertukar fikiran tentang usaha menggiatkan lagi aktiviti ternakan lebah kelulut di negeri Perak. Selepas perbincangan, mereka telah dibawa melawat ke kawasan ternakan lebah kelulut serta berpeluang merasai madu kelulut asli terus dari sarang.

Alhamdulillah, kursus ternakan lebah kelulut hari pertama 31/10/13 untuk Program Desa Lestari anjuran Syamille-KKLW di Syamille Agro Farm & Resort Kuala Kangsar telah berjalan dengan lancar. Pada hari ke 2, para peserta ditunjukkan dan diajarkan kaedah penuaian madu dan propolis kelulut serta penyediaan sarang koloni lebah kelulut. Kursus kali ini dihadiri oleh pegawai-pegawai dari KKLW, RISDA, KEMAS, KEJORA, MARA dan SKM. InsyaAllah, kursus berikutnya adalah pada 9 & 10 November 2013.
